The Parish Council has purchased two bleed kits, they are situated in the phone boxes in Westhay and Meare along with the defibrillators. These are for use of anyone who suffers a big bleed, knife wound, farming accident, car or motorbike collisions, or any incident where someone is bleeding. The pack has all the things you will need and instructions on how to use it. Hopefully we won’t need it but it’s there if you need it.
The phone boxes are also home to two life saving defibrillators.
