There are 4 life-saving Defibrillators in the Parish.
The one in Meare is located in the middle of the village in a red telephone box on the southern side of St Marys Road between the Church Rooms and the road to Ashcott.
It has a postcode of BA6 9SP
The one in Westhay is also in a red telephone box, near to the Bird In Hand pub.
It has a postcode of BA6 9TN
The third one has been installed at The Railway Inn Pub in Ashcott Road.
It has a postcode of BA6 9SX
The forth one is situated at Marshes Hub Tea Stop, Avalon Marshes, Shapwick Road
It has a postcode of BA6 9TT
All are well signposted.
The defibrillators are live and registered on the National Defibrillator Network. Access is available via the Emergency Ambulance Service by calling 999 or 112. The locations for the defibrillators have been chosen by the councillors and to find the nearest one go to https://www.defibfinder.uk/ and enter your postcode.

In addition to the defibrillators, the Parish have also installed 2 bleed kits. These can be found in the telephone box on St Mary’s Road, Meare and in the telephone box on Main Road, Westhay.
