I moved to Meare in 2014 and joined the Parish Council in November 2021. I became a Parish Councillor in order to support local issues and to contribute to the future developments whilst looking after the needs of Parishioners. I enjoy walking and gardening and you will often see me out and about in the Parish with my dog Ruby.
Alan is the Parish Paths Liaison Officer. He works with Somerset County Council Rights of Way Team to keep our network of footpaths open and accessible. Alan is also responsible for the Parish War Memorial.
