After living abroad for a number of years I moved to Meare in beautiful Somerset five years ago. My background is in the adult care sector where I worked for over twenty years.
I specialized in learning disabilities with challenging behaviours where I had the opportunity to set up and manage a home for one of Lord Alan Sugar’s charities based in Barkingside, North London.
One day I might even describe myself as a musician as I play in three local ukulele groups and an African djembe drumming group.
I am the chair of the Meare and Westhay Ladies Group.
Gayle is responsible for monitoring the Parish CCTV system and a representative on the Church Rooms Committee.
