I’m originally from Romford, in London but moved to Meare 5 years ago after living in Javea in Spain for 16 years. My working life was spent working for BT and my last post was Global Services, looking after contracts with Civil Aviation Authority and the US Government. I was elected to the Parish Council in May 2022.
Additionally to my Parish Council role I am also a committee member on the Meare and Westhay Fundraising Team (MWFT), including the planting of areas of the Parish with flowers, and the Lazy Breakfast once a month. I am also a committee member of the Ladies Social group and we run the Warm Space initiative in the Parish. I love spending time on my allotment in the village, enjoy walking, wildlife and supporting my football team Tottenham Hotspur.
Lee is responsible for liaising with Somerset Waste Partnership, and looking after the two parishes Defibrillators
